The first interpretation of the Partagas 1845 series garnered a rabidly loyal, if small following of cigar connoisseurs, yet the team at General Cigar saw the need for an update in both composition and appearance. The reboot of the 1845 series officially brought two new blends into the fold as well as an updated blend and expanded name for the original 1845 that started it all: Partagas 1845 Clasico.

This go-around the Partagas 1845 Clasico is built around a balanced mixture of Nicaraguan and Dominican tobaccos which have been placed inside of a Connecticut Broadleaf binder and an Ecuadorian-grown Sumatra wrapper that has been aged three months in whiskey barrels for added character. The medium-bodied affair offers up notes of toast, wood, earth, nut and cream for a refined, yet engaging experience.
